Help with Prototype / Edinger RC10 parts

Post by Scalemotorcars »

Im back and could use a hand.

Ive got a new project coming up and I need as much info on the original Edinger cars. Now thanks to Steve on this board theres some great photos of #1 prototype but what I'm looking for is any differences in the original run of Edinger cars. Slight variations in construction are my main focus.

So please any photos or links to tech data on the original cars would be great and thanks in advance.
If I can build it, drive it, or blow it up I LOVE IT!!!

Variations such as battery straps, tires, spring cups, bell cranks, stamping, anodizing, ball cups, wing mounts, body thickness, gear cover thickness/material, shock pistons, MSC's---Did I leave anything out?

Where in NC are you?

Sorry, I should have been more specific. Just the nylon and fiberglass. Not the pan, shocks, internal items or electronics.

Wow, it's Dan right, I saw you sell off so many cool builds and your still addicted huh?

Anyway, I'm the guy with an unstamped RC10 I got from Ron Williams at RCH out of his very first order from the Edinger "factory" if you want to call it that. I still have it in a lightly modified state, in the process of getting it restored.

The only thing I would add as far as the nylon, my ball cups don't have the hex collar behind the cup, like the assembly manual, but unlike Lowry's nice photos.

I'm down in San Diego now - Brian
