What’s the Ultima chassis kick-up angle?

Post by m_vice »

Can anyone tell me what the kick-up angel on the Ultima chassis?

I bought my T Ultima used and it looks like the owner never put the big screws that attach the top plate with the front bulkhead so the front was a bit bent. I can bend it so the top plate holes mach but I was wandering if anyone know the angle.

Thanks.

I believe the original kick up angle on the ultima is 20 degrees. I remember shimming the front bulkhead to get it to 25 degrees for a better castor angle. -Jeff

This is what i was thinking, i remember looking at the Ultima and the front tower and shock always looked more strait than the RC10s.

yup, 20 degrees is correct. The ultima guys use to put the thick associated washers between the chassis and the front of the bulkhead to get the 30 degrees. They also used the longer 8-32 counter sunk screws with a nut on the top of the bulkhead to keep it all together.
