new guy here just got 7 new buggys

Post by jdenison75 »

Wanted to get back into rc's. My son is old enough to work on them and i can use that as a excuse to buy some fun toys. Was looking around and found a guy locally who had a fleet of buggies and a huge toolbox full of parts and 6 racing motors. A box with about 20 pairs of wheels new in the box and 15 body shells. I was originally just looking to buy one or two but he said he would take $200 for the lot. :D So i grabbed it up. Not really sure about everything i have. Most of them have dates written on them from around 1995. I posted a pic of them in the vintage rc photos. And will be putting up a few more. A couple of them are the style i had when i was younger and pretty sure they are the rc10 style. Any help letting me know what i have would be great. Thanks.

Don't see any pics added to any of the forums? You would want to add them to this post/thread for the best results, If you have any trouble ask here. Welcome to RC10Talk-

Welcome to the forum.

Looks like you have 4 RC-10t trucks(one might be a T3) and three Rc-10 buggies.

I am sure the more knowledgeable members here will be able to provide you with more detail.

It might help if you could take individual pictures of each one.

Ed

p.s. You got a great deal!!!

And here is a few of the shelf queen. This one looks to be in great shape. Almost no scratches anywhere. Having some issues with the speed controller and getting it setup. But its still really fast.

Heres a few more. This is about half of the tool box contents. All of the buggies have motors in them but i have these also, they have race only scribed on them. And a few extra wheels and tires.

top left = rc10t2 (if its an alloy pan chassis)
top right = rc10t
middle left = rc10 ce
middle = traxxas trx1?
middle right = another trx1?
bottom left = one sweet rc10t shelf car
bottom right = rc10t

using the first pic you posted that is what i see but i could be wrong cause it is a bit blurry.

i wouldn't run the shelfer at all. that one alone is worth what you paid. nice find and i bet your boy is gonna have a blast.

As the others have said, you scored. I cringed when you said the purple on was really fast, that thing just needs to set on the shelf. Looks like it was someone's pride and joy. Post up more pics when you get a chance. Would love to see the rest of the stash.

LowClassCC got it.
Love the purple 10T. This is one of the best deals I have heard of, other than a free car. NICE SCORE man. Welcome to 10Talk, keep the pics coming.

You guys are good. It would have taken me a while to figure out what all these are. Thanks for all the help. Heres a few more pics. And I only have a couple crystals and batteries but i managed to test them all out and they are running. The purple one was only ran inside on the carpet. Think i will keep it nice.
