Ugly Body..

Post by soniccj5 »

Decided to try and strip this body again with brake fluid. I soaked some paper towels and placed them inside the body. So far I have been able to remove most of the red paint.

This will be my airbrush test subject.

If you're familiar with 1/1 scale auto paint.... you'll know that red is the easiest to destroy, fades the quickest, doesn't hold up as well, etc.

Keep at it... it should just take more time for the other colors.

as an aside... I kind of like that scheme, execution was not so great, but the scheme is kinda cool.
JRX2 in the late 80s... have since come to my senses with the RC10T, yes of course it's vintage! Wife is always destroying her Tamiaya LunchBox to call me her personal mechanic a few more times. Enjoying the fresh build of an RJ Speed Digger.

I can't take any credit for the scheme. I got the body with an e-bay purchase.
