its an old Bolink body. Not sure which model. I won it on ebay for cheap

its the bashing body. Im gonna have the sidewinder body custom painted with my old Buds bi level wing for show..

now I have to work on a body......

opinions???

one question tho.. about the ball diff adjustment.. how 'tight' should I have it adjusted? I can grab a wheel and hit the throttle and there is hardly any resistance on the wheel I have stopped. Too...

its pretty firm, you would be surprised. Its as firm or even more so then a graphite chassis rc10.. Its not going anywhere.. trust me:)

Just looking at doing some CR upgrades to my first gen XX, and I was wondering if the front axles are longer to accommodate the wider wheels/tires, or are the axles the same and it's simply a wider rim to accommodate the wider tires?

I got this setup this week:

The front wheels are Tamiya, but I don't see any inserts so the axles must be metric (still to grimy to measure). How could I run a set of wide Associated wheels on the front end?

My original plan was for a buggy-based...

I just thought of the HPI Blitz Pro, it has white/gray parts, the front caster blocks and steering knuckles might work well. 1.6 tires will fit on Mini-size wheels with a 12mm hex, so that would work perfectly.

Hi,

I'm tempted by a vintage Associated Mustang body, currently listed on the bay, to fit my RC10L2 (235mm wide).

Before placing an order, I would appreciate to see a picture of a painted copy of the body, just to figure out what the result could...

Answer to self : I think I've found, it looks like it's not an associated body, but the McAllister Boss Mustang .
It's available at Stormer hobbies, BTW.
At 9 wide, the rear wheels will stick out, not so cool :?

I’m looking for body options for the car below, I know a few of you have wider chassis so what have you used? I’m not overly keen on the Andy’s Renegade, I prefer Viper/Protech 2 style. I was thinking a JRX2/Pro may work.

4 sets of NOS USA-1 wheels and tires came up on ebay not too long ago, he had a buy it now for $100+$20 to shipped or best offer I made an offer for $80+$20 and he accepted.The finished was in good shape and in order to preserve it you have to clear...

it's just paint, so it won't be as tough as anodizing. baking it makes it tougher, but with any prolonged abrasion, it will wear off, that applies to pretty much any coating.
