Short Course LXT
Guys,
With short course gaining popularity at my local track have been considering turning my dusty LXT into a short course truck.
Has anybody done this already? Any tips or tricks? Is it as simple as adding wheels and a body or are the dimesions different?
Any input or pics would be appreciated.

Still sits like that today...local rules are no "home made" creations...even in unlimited open classes.

That's the biggest problem with the new class, every track has it's own set of rules. The tracks around here were big on the spec thing, but after all the other brands came out with trucks we just went with ROAR rules. Which say nothing about home made stuff, so it's legal here.JK Racing wrote:Still sits like that today...local rules are no "home made" creations...even in unlimited open classes.
Too much rules restriction is going to turn people away from the class.

Totally agree! SC is pretty much stomping stadium truck out of existence. So to then say you cannot mod your stadium truck to SC is pretty stupid. As long as it meets ROAR rules it shouldnt matter.Too much rules restriction is going to turn people away from the class.
Better check with my local track before I get out the dremel.
