What yokomo is this front Bulkhead from???
Hello everyone,
My friend gave this to me the other day when I bought a bunch of stuff from him, but neither of us know what Yokomo it is from? Anyone know? All I can tell is that it is made of Delrin and it's in pretty good shape. Cheerz.

Originally for the YR4 series, but will fit 870c and works cars as Aaron stated
Just had a closer look, it's a front, and you can run a bumper above chassis level for extra ground clearance

That particular front bulkhead is from a yr4-m2 but as stated can be run in yr4 and 870c with a packing piece

Re: What yokomo is this front Bulkhead from???
hi guys just to clarify if I buy a set of front and rear zr300's I can fit them to my 870c runner?
guessing delrin is more durable than the standard magnesium items......anything else I need to know or do they simply just bolt on in place of the mag ones?
Cheers

Re: What yokomo is this front Bulkhead from???
I have a set as well. I also machine delrin and nylon. Im going to say that the delrin will be comparable to the magnesium in a front impact. Probably not any stronger. Its good plastic for sure, but its strength is in hardness. There are no reinforcing fibers. Honestly, I think the black plastic bulk head might break easier,, but Ive never broke a mag bulkhead, so I dont really know. I just know that acetal plastic(delrin by brand name) is hard, self lubricating, and good for machined items like gears, that are subject to wear stress. In block form its practically indestructible,, but these yokomo bulkheads are pretty thin.
Re: What yokomo is this front Bulkhead from???
The bulkhead posted is a ZR300S (YR4 M2), the bulkhead set without the bumper cut out is the ZR300 (early YR4) I have sets of both that I have run on 870C's with no problem, and they are a direct bolt in. I have broken the mag bulkheads before, but I used to be a terrible driver.
