Traxxas TRX-1 Keep whole or part out?
Maybe this is an odd question but I'm really trying to figure out what I should do. So here's the story, I bought a TRX-1 off ebay for what I felt was a good price. It as a couple small things I want (wing wire, buttons, etc.) But after that I really don't need the car as the one I have and am restoring is pretty much mint. So my question is do I get it all together and throw it back up on e-bay, or since it seems TRX-1 parts on here go fast do I part it out to help others finish projects? I reallly don't care about the $$$ side, just felt since parts for fast on here others could use some of the parts to finish projects? I promise not to become the RCBONZ of RC10talk

You are killin me!
That's a very hard choice and if I didn't need parts I'd never part it out. Not that I REALLy need parts, it's just the desire to improve the ones I have.

The only reason why I'd even think of parting it out is when I list ANY TRX-1 they go quick. This just makes me think there are more than a few members needing parts to finish projects?

I've just won a TCP to my own surprise. Not sure if it misses any parts actually... but just in case: I'll vote you part it out (pure egoisme, I plead guilty)
PS: if I could vote twice I'd have gone for the third option aswell

Well if it's that $130 runner you picked up, let's just say you can keep the electronics and the stuff you need, and I'll prolly buy what's left from you in one shot if the price is right

Re: Traxxas TRX-1 Keep whole or part out?
honestly i say part it out.
keep the tranny whole, part out the motor plate, bulkheads, front/rear arms, f/r arm mounts, battery case, both shock towers, shocks, etc etc. get the most money back ya can. i know its sacriledge to some to do this, but who cares, make the maximum profit you can to fund other projects you got going on.
if someone offers you a sweet price on the whole car, sell it.

Hi Eric, no my new built TRX-1 is still sitting on my shelf. I neither want to sell it nor drive it at this point (even though im very tempted). I have so many projects on the go and many cars first in line which need to be run anyway.
