I truly miss the early days when the cars were hand finished. The sense of accomplishment was what made the hobby really fun. And I'm talking about 1980.

These scans came from a book each driver received at the drivers meeting. It was mostly ads and the ROAR rules for 1/10 scale off road. Here are just a few pages from the book.

Anyone else hear this? It might be old news and if so, delete post. I don't race so I don't always hear the latest. Just read(red) this though. It would be pretty cool. :D

Thats pretty funny seeing that article again. I was pretty happy winning that Stock Nationals. Almost made the Mod A also. Missed by less than a sec if I remember right. The year before I was in the Q in mod and the R in Stock at Antioch.
