Local carpet track started a oval day. A group of us have some older sedans and decided to do a Late model class. I have a couple of 4 tecs hanging around so I thought I would start another build...

the concept - build a modern track capable truck based on the LS2 chassis thats actually competitive, tall order i know :lol: .. anyway not much of the bling in the photo will be utilized .. weight and function is the goal on this build there will...

Newbie to the site, but I have been playing with RC10's since 1987.

I have acquired several early A chassis cars and I want to build a few exactly the same for my kids and I to race on a backyard track.

I want to build 80's style late models...

try some custom works wheels and their rubber street tread tires.

or, try some bart's aluminum hubs and hoops. get 2 in. rims and use the custom works tires.

Long time lurker, first time poster, finally joining in with an RC10 late model build. Google introduced me to RC10Talk.com about a year ago, after a suggestion made to me by my cousin that we needed to go buy ourselves some RC heli's got me...

it all started with a 15x8 .125 sheet of g10... and the want for an oval car.....
so i sketched out a few ideas and did a lil bit of research before settling on the final design.

Greg, I just though tof this, but you did turn you diff the correct direction inside the case?-when in mid motor
the adjuster side of the diff needs to be on the same side as the input shaft, otherwise your diff will loosen it self as you run

Hi all.
I remember a car on the cover of a late 80's rcmc magazine, I'm pretty sure it was an optima pro or turbo, was tested on a beach and from memory was red faded in to white paint. Can anyone remember this mag edition? Or have a picture of it?...
