Cougar 2 Family Photo Album
Seeing how much I enjoy other people's piccies, thought I'd share a few of my Cougar 2 family. One family member is missing (Cougar2 Sport) due to being in pieces with no time to put it back together Also missing are two Topcats, and 2 Cougar 1's as these are awaiting restoration & painted shells.
Top to bottom: Almost mint Cougar 2 Works, runner Cougar 2 Works, 100% new built Cougar 2 Works, 100% new built Cougar 2 Team, and finally my original Cougar 2 Team from my youth, complete with Kyosho Hi-Rider Corvette Lexan "pop up" headlight which I used as a scoop to try and cool my pathetic Futaba MC112B ESC!!
Works chassis
With a few elderly relations - new built Topcat and restored Cougar 1
Got to love the C2, one of my favourite shape shells. I never did very well racing them, but think a lot of that was due to using a really soft servo saver (I couldn't afford to break the plastic gears in any more servos). This caused the steering to "straighten up" at speed, so my Cougar 2 understeered everywhere

That's an impressive collection of complete Cougars mate.... makes me more than a bit jealous, especially when I look at my pile of junkers.....
I agree on the Cougar2 body, it does have a very nice shape.... it's just a shame you can't buy just the nose piece though, as I have about 15 C2 body sections, but NO noses!!!
Keep up the good work!

Ian - that is one seriously nice collection. Love the fact that you have restored your original racer too
Agree that the shape of the C2 is very desirable!
