Since I HAD a fully hopped up Blackfoot a long time ago... and the modern budget will ensure that never happens again, I am pretty sure I am going to complete my Early Cad. RC10 with the proline kit..its going to be a shelfer anyhow.. I remember how increadibly easy it was to flip my Blackfoot... Crashing and Bashing was most of the RC fun! And my car was minus the wheels, mounts and body...Considering what Jelly beans and rubber go for.. Perfect candidate. No extra parts left in the box :) My brothers RC10 was turned into a stadium racer before there were kits...

It went up $62.50 with 2 seconds left. Have to love sniping software.

I should have bid higher.. :)

I love this hobby!

It ended up going for $102.50 or something?

You've got to figure that a stadium truck body is worth $25, the wheels are worth $15+, the tires are worth $15/pair, plus there is additional body mounting hardware in the box.

So ... I've come to $100 just with the stuff above bought separately. And this is a vintage, collectors item in the oiginal box? I think that $100 final price was pretty reasonable -- you'd have a hard time doing it for that little money piecing it together with separately purchased non-vintage parts.

Agreed. And then I saw someone pick up the NEW Novak NES 1A servo for the BIN at 74.00 while I was "talking it over" with the wife. Snooze and lose again!

:) I told my wife I made 180 dollars in the last 25 minutes. She is starting to like this hobby too.

Glad to hear I got a bargain!

I didn't snipe it, just timed my bid very well. I actually bought this before I got my first RC10, but as I was looking for one I saw this and couldn't resist. Have no plans to use it just yet, but who knows what the future will bring!

I would love to see it built up! As things turned out, not winning the kit led me in a new direction with my car. :)

Congrats again!
