ASSOCIATED RC10 Early truck conversion body I.D.
Hello All,
I could use some help. This was part of the Chris Chan collection, and this body was on a RC10 with early truck conversion. I wanted to see if anyone recognizes it from a photo or advertisement.
Thanks
Romulus

looks like the team associated 1988 "california ford stadium truck" body. for the shape it's in, i would say it's one of chris chan's personal bodies. but it is possible that it could of been a candidate for associated's catalog.
was that a converted graphite rc10 with knobby truck tires in the box romulus? it could be possible that you have one of the rc10's that they used for the photo shoots.

Yup, that's the Ford. TBG is repopping these now, along with the Toyota. I have the Toyota at home, waiting to drop it on an RC10 Classic and see how it fits; I hear his bodies are slightly undersized (the materials used to copy the original bodies shrink as they cure) so we'll see how it all lines up.

I second that...That looks like a classic 70's to 80's paint job...justinspeed79 wrote:Awesome body, killer paint.

I agree, it says chan racing but that looks like Mike Ogle styling
This is one he did for Ron at SRP. Oh, it's probably still for sale too

It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas
