I have a near mint Airtronics Vortex ESC from an ebay purchase a while back. I came across some ads for it in RC Model Car magazine from 89. I'd like to use it in a vintage 1/12 restoration, but I don't have the instructions. I'd bet I could figure it out, but I'd love to have a copy of the instructions to make sure I don't make any mistakes. Apparently it was Airtonics Race ESC of the time. If anyone has a copy of this manual I would apreciate a copy for myself.
Thanks
Ben

marui hunter 73,
If I get ahold of one, I'll send it your way too.
If I remember, I'll scan and post the ad in the old RC Model Car Mag.

Re: Vintage Airtronics Vortex ESC manual
Awesome PRP,
Thanks for finding it for me. Now I need to learn French:-) I'll have to find a way to translate it, but it's the best I've seen yet.
Thank you,
Ben

Re: Vintage Airtronics Vortex ESC manual
I translate for you ,
You have 3 screws N / H / C
N= Neutral
H= High Speed
C= Curve like Expo on the radio.
Step 1: Set the neutral.
Step 2: With the little box put on the motor wire, and set the high speed , 90% in max forward the light is off.
Step 3: Set the curve like you want: turn the screw on left Slow Curve, Turn the screw on right High Curve.
Now the speedo is ready...
550 Amp max for this speedo but no brake.
