Could someone please help me out with setting up a Sanwa Super Vortex ESC? It has three buttons: N(eutral), H(igh), and P(rogram). Pushing in P changes the led color to orange, but then pushing in N or H doesn't seem to store either the neutral or full throttle position.
Tentative set-up procedure for 207HF (probably also 212HF):
- Leave motor disconnected.
- Connect battery.
- Switch on radio and ESC.
- Press "P" button and hold.
- When orange LED lights, release "P" button (orange LED should stay on) and immediately press and hold "N" button.
- Release "N" button when LED turn green.
- Press "P" and hold.
- When orange LED lights, release "P" button (orange LED should stay on) and immediately press and hold "H" button while pushing trigger to full throttle.
- Release "H" button when LED turns red.
- Switch off ESC.
- Connect motor.
- Switch on ESC and test. All should work now.
The intermittent motor issues were apparently caused by an improperly set full throttle setting.
I was thinking of getting a Super Vortex Zero soon but then I noticed there are now several different models of this ESC. There's the SV-Gen2, SV-Stock, SV-Type D and SV-Sport. What's the real difference between them?
I want to make sure I get a...

I run one in my b44.3. I'm happy with it. I'm running a little boost with my Reedy 7.5 and easily keep up with 6.5 cars. Runs nice and cool, even without using the fan. No complaints here. 8)
I have a near mint Airtronics Vortex ESC from an ebay purchase a while back. I came across some ads for it in RC Model Car magazine from 89. I'd like to use it in a vintage 1/12 restoration, but I don't have the instructions. I'd bet I could figure...
New addition to the collection.
Sanwa Super M-zechs. Cousin to Airtronics Caliber 3ps.
I'm not one hundred percent sure, but I think this was released second half of 1994.

Great find. I am a huge fan of the Airtronics Caliber radio. I have managed to find a brand new in the box 3PS. I would love to find a matching 3P someday.
HI!... O.k I've been running the Mamba Monster ESC/MOTOR combo for years in a bunch of my 1/8TH scale cars/trucks. I've always ran two 7.4 volt lipo's together to get the 14.8 volts. Now I bought a single 18.5 volt lipo due to I did a electric...
I just installed this ESC, in my recently build RC10WC, coupled with a reedy 17.5T mach2 540 motor and I have the following 2 issues which I am hoping someone could help answer for me:
1. The forward and reverse were reversed. Any way of...
