RC10 Factory Team Turnbuckle Set

Post by craigc8791 »

The B3 Factory Team Turnbuckle set works on the graphite, worlds and champion edition buggy, im sure it will work for the original goldpan too.
1207- B3 Turnbuckles - 25.00 from Towerhobbies
individually:
2 Rear- 2.00"- 1406
Centerlink- 1.00"- 1409
4 Front- 1.65"- 1403- this one is only at rc10.com they come in 2 packs
Then you will need an extra 1402 for the servo link to steering block

The B3 set will not work on a tub car, they would all have to be trimmed except the 2.0 for the steering,

Rc10 Tub chassis-
Front camber links 1.65"
Rear camber links 1.35" stealth, 1.0" 6 gear
Steering 2.0"

You can get close by ordering individually via AE or tower the current 1.33/1.68 etc-long RPM or Losi ball cups will change the length

I can't find 1.33/1.35 turnbuckles anywhere. I want to outfit a short arm rc10. I was planning on using Lunsford Punisher 1.0" turnbuckles/cup kit for camber, will the 1-3/8 work for steering? I know that's 1.375", and I want a little bit of toe out in the front. Can I compensate by screwing the balls on farther? If not, can I use FT 1.30" blue turnbuckles, or are they too short? I looked at the Du Bro turnbuckles, but I'd rather have titanium if possible.

either option is probably fine. I'd suggest getting them a little longer, and if necessary, trim a tiny bit from each end. you can take away, but you can't add.

Okay, thanks. The Du Bro turnbuckles are a lot cheaper. I was looking at the Lunsford for durability. Does anyone have experience with the durability of the Du bro 4-40 turnbuckles? Are they at least as strong as the stock threaded rods?

Thanks, good to know. I've never bent a threaded rod, so I guess the Du bro turnbuckles will do fine.
