storm help

i have a storm i would like to run and even race, but i need a body, is there any where to get one? or a modern replacement, what about wheels? or should i just make it a buggy? then again what bodies for it? wheels also?

I wouldnt run it. I never see the storm or any of its parts listed for sale on ebay. I would either shelf queen it or sell it and get yourself something that parts can be found for.

Which Storm? I did much of the R&D for them here in the states on the original Storm trucks. If it is one of the original Storm trucks (not the 2000 series), then they carry almost identicle parts to the cougar series of cars, so most of your spares would be for the Cougar not the Storm. Post a pic if you can. -Jeff

Yup, that is one of the Cougar based trucks. It looks to be in good condition. I had forgotten about the lexan chassis shield! It really isn't a competative truck, and never was. The ones I ran were heavily modified, and carried a completely different suspension package. Good luck. -Jeff

I forgot about that Storm....I was just thinking abut the Storm 2000. Thats a nice looking vintage rc you got there though.

BTW, whats the difference betwen the the storm pictured above, and the Shotgun? I had the shotgun years and years ago, though never put it all the way together before I sold it.
