Racing T4.1
Must be that time to run something new, Ruffy's thread inspired me.
I too am heading racing with my T4.1 for the first time in a long long time this weekend. It is pretty much out of the box RTR but will have a selection of tires. Last time I raced; it was a YZ-10 or was it a Topcat in 1993 or so.
Of course the experts at the local track have bombarded me with too much to think about, so I am going back to the good ole days when I did not know what a set up sheet was, and that if my anti squat adjustment was off the sky would not fall
If I can finish I will call it a success.

Re: Racing T4.1
You should like it on the track, I was shocked to find that my FT T4.1 ran identical lap times to my

Re: Racing T4.1
I love mine. For our offroad the thing handled right out of the box. My 9 year old daughter ran it and it was just too easy for her to drive so you should take to it pretty quick. It also outmanuevered my ftt4 for some reason so I had to do a little changin on it to get it to work as well as the t4.1...can't have my 9 year old daughter showing me up anymore . Good luck and let us know how you like it.

Re: Racing T4.1
I just finished setting up per a set up sheet, I couldn't resist, at RC10.com, only thing I need is to place the lead weights. Last time I raced the last thing I thought about was placing weights anywhere.
Re: Racing T4.1
a co-worker bought one of these a month ago and loves it. He is used to flying so this was his first ground RC.
I watched him at practice night and for a bone stock with a little weight, he was flying around the track.. makes me want a buggy in a way..

Re: Racing T4.1
I'm still running one of my T4.1 as box stock and its great. The 3300 kv motor is alot of fun, lacks a little top end. I am thinking about a servo upgrade, though.
Re: Racing T4.1
i can see the shorter can not having the best top end. I know they where walking away from my Rustler VXL with the same lipo though..

Re: Racing T4.1
It now has RPM front and rear arms and bulkhead and blue team titanium turnbuckles. And three Lipos ready to go, never had so much money into a RTR. That should easily make up fo me bouncing off the walls and put me on the path to World Champion

Re: Racing T4.1
Dead last in the B-main 19 turn class out of 15 or so entered split between A and B main. My main had 5 entrants, one crashed out and one broke, so that left three, so technically 3rd I guess I was in 2nd until the last turn when I crashed and was passed at the buzzer.
It's been a long time and it was a lot of fun. Tires tires tires is all I can say as my biggest learning curve. By the end of the night I was a full lap faster than I strated the day.
