T4 shock rebound?

Post by RCveteran »

I recently acquired a used set of these so not to familiar with what they should be. I have rebuilt with bleeder caps and can get no more than 5mm rebound. Maybe this is normal acccording to some I have read and not according to others. By comparison the ones I took off my T4.1RTR kit had about 50% rebound.

Any thoughts? Do you guys run with or w/o rebound, any experience with these shocks?

I only run what rebound I get by properly bleeding the shocks out, any more than that and you have too much oil in your shocks-and they won't work as well.

Finding a lot of people who say that now the more I read. Good to know. Getting back into racing after so long is frying my brain, long ago in a land far away I did not think so much about it and seemed to do a whole lot better and be a fairly competent local racer.
