Re-aquired proto stuff...

Post by Jay Dub »

Well, I re-aquired a bunch of stuff from my nephews, and found some of my old racing parts. In particular are some prototype parts I made during my R&D days with Schuie.

The first pic is of the actual front arm I machined (and I use the term loosely) for the Cougar series of cars. This is the actual arm that was used to design the swept front arms on the Cougar 2 and Works series of cars. I remember being so proud (I was 18 maybe) at the time, as I disasembled the front of my car and they drew a template to take back with them to england (I think this was a REEDY Race in the early 90's). They really thought my car was awesome (I did too btw :D ). They also took a list of other mods I had done, and incorporated them into the newer cars.

The second pic is of the parts I machined (again loosely) for the Storm truck I used to campaign back in the day. These parts never made it to production, as Trucks werent popular over there, and the Schumacher trucks werent very popular here either. -Jeff

Jeff,

You never stop amazing me with all you have done. I wish I would have had the ability and the tools to machine stuff back in the 90's. Man that would have been awesome.

Thanks for sharing.
