HI!... I picked up another RC10 tonight from a local. Came with a ton of extra parts including two sets of JELLY BEAN real wheels. It's got a graphite chassis but not one I have ever seen before. Can someone identify this chassis for me? Here's a few pics :
you could throw trinity or parma into the mix too. there were so many aftermarket chassis' back in the day for the rc10 that looked the same, it's really tough to comfirm without being the one that actually bought it new. there are slight differences, but i don't remember all of them.
So i got a couple more YZ10's off eBay, I was hoping the listing would end close to the starting price (Not very low), all looked good up till about 10 min left and someone started jacking the price up grrrrr.... needles to say that got me in the...

Well i dont feel quit as bad now lol, A single YZ10 just sold for 360 lol, Looks like the same guy attempted to get this one also and lost at the end, I hope he get the next one, i feel bad now lol.
So I'm slowly starting to go through the few cars I got and tonight's subject is an old RC-10 with a 6 gear transmission, A&L trailing arm suspension and Compiscraft (not 100% sure) chassis.
I forgot to take the pics when it was all...

Little bit of attention to the A&L trailing arms goes a long way.
Have been so busy this year this is the first time I have got the Arrma Felony out and ran it since last year. And actually only the 2nd time I have ever ran it since getting it last fall. Already destroyed the rear tires. It's just...

tire replacement is prolly part of these guys' business models ;)
Yep. I think tires for a Felony is probably the equivalent of ink cartridges for printers
Even though brushed motors are a thing of the past, I got a little satisfaction out of tinkering with one tonight. I never had money for a comm lathe back when I raced carpet, so this was all new to me.
I have a 27T Holmes Hobbies motor in my...

my comm lathe back in the day was attaching a motor to my dremel, pulling the brushes, turning on the dremel, and stuffing an edge comm stick in the brush hood.
This was offered to me from a guy my son works with. He had recently got it from a relative. It's nothing special, but it does have a couple nice items on it. RPS bellcrank, aluminum spring collars, T&A titanium dogbones, and a Tekin PXT esc. Some...

That action shot looks like it could have come from a 30 year old RCCA magazine article. Your cars are so distinctively old-school and completely awesome.
Just wanted to say that I hope you guys in the NE skate through the storm OK tonight: Scott, Jason/Scr8p, Mikedealer, Erich, Brian, and the rest of you folks (can't name all of you). Heither and I are thinking of each of you.

seriously that storm was a joke, Ive seen way worse rain storms in Florida that lasted twice as long....
Not a joke to some. No power Sunday 730am until Weds 5pm at home. Eight inches of rain in a 18hr period. No power at shop where I work until...
It all started when I recently I bought some aluminum body mounts for my Tamiya Lunchbox. I took the body mounts off and found that I had already replaced the stock mounts with aluminum mounts. Pretty bad when you forget what you've done in the...

These wheels look fantastic - even on the Ultima :D
What's goin' on with the wing though? Looks rather flaccid.
Yeah, it looks like the Ultima spent some time on it's roof before I picked it up.

What shocks are those? Are they stripped or something? They look good, just curious. They're clearly Associated, but seem to have the color of Kyosho Platinums.
