Re: My SUPER MANTA RAY !!!!!!!!!!
Hi Mr ED.
The wheels are just cheap ones from my mate who brings them in. I went to dip them in my acetone bath so i can put foam liners in and the rims started to melt. Just after this pic.
I have had some lessons from my partner how to pick a good back ground, crop, edit, past, photo bucket. LOL.
I have bought a new camera but my phone is easy to use which is where this pic comes from.

Well your partner is a good teacher and you're a good student
I like those wheels : seem to have a nice offset comparable to the older kyosho wheels. They're 2.2"?

I like it, in fact so much that I think I'm going to build a Jamie Booth TRF Manta Ray replica.

Re: My SUPER MANTA RAY !!!!!!!!!!
Oh Mr ED.
My partner and i are just laughing so loud you should be able to here us from your country.
It's only taking me 6 months to learn it and lots of hissy fits from me.
Yes are 2.2 and off sets are really good.
That XB shell cost me $66 posted which is very expensive when the whole RTR ray sold for $160.
So decided not to run that XB shell in the manta cup. Just finished a red one.
Thanks Gazza. Are you building one????
What do you think.

Re: My SUPER MANTA RAY !!!!!!!!!!
Crikey, that's expensive, matey... local shop down here was selling painted XB bodies for $7 with no decals, $9 or $10 with decals.... but no wings. I picked up a few just because.....Mad Racer wrote:That XB shell cost me $66 posted which is very expensive when the whole RTR ray sold for $160.
Might have to go back anc check for any more stock.....
