tech racing adjustable shock for kyosho series

Post by crusaderlyf »

tech racing ever released adjustable shock kyosho series car 20 years ago。previous only can got some pictures by google.luckly recently I got two set of these shocks,One set is golden and another is blue, they are only different of the top cap, the shock's piston like schumacher's shocks can adjust the hold big or small.because the big caps and ends so the shocks looks like big bore, use 16mm shock spring, but the shock's body dimeter only 14mm.

my gold shocks needs four pressure cap to rebuild, anyone can advanced that where to got 14mm or 15mm pressure cap?can 1/8 cars shock's fitting well?
the blue shocks are mint but I think more like tamiya style.
please enjoy :P

And I have another question want to get the answer.
anyone know this aluminum rims and tires made by witch manufacturer?Sees or others?the rims like F1’s wide, super light weight but very shiny.the rear
wheels fit the axle of kyosho in the picture, the front wheels adapters diamater are 8mm and can use 4x8 or 5x8 ball bearings can install on 2wd, if not use the adapters I think it's yokomo rear wheel.the tires are mint and marked "Grand Prix" on the edge.I have any idea about this and hope to get the opinion。thanks everybody

I had 2 sets of thech racing shocks: fronts and rears for the thundershot.
Yours look a little different... I hope they're better 'cause mine only look good. Once on the track they developped lots of play and leaked like the tamiya shocks they replace

Those wheels are Advance Engineering Mini Mags. I always wanted a set for my RC10 when I was a kid. That set is probably for an Ultima.

You might check what Traxxas has to offer as far as replacement bladders.
