I have this nice, brandy new chassis I'd like to build up. What details can the experts tell me about it? The "official" description is : #10109 : 10LSS G/E Pro Series Quick Change Chassis. The 4 where the battery goes are too close together for RC10 style battery cups btw, so I' wondering what battery mount style was intended.
BITD we used to run the battery boxes upside down, with a spring loaded strip of G10 kind of like a trigger to release the batteries- but that is not an answer for you, but I have seen trays from CC for that chassis as well-
Just a project I currently have going that I thought I would share and also a question besides running the servo saver upside down for clearance of the tie-rods what other options would I have?

Thank you very much for that I will check into it and see what I can come up with, I was worried my choice of body would be impacted.
I have had this chassis sitting in the parts bin for who knows how long, and have never really though much about it. That is, until I saw LTO_Dave's 'From Black To White...' thread. While admiring his build it dawned on me that I have a similar...

Thanks for the info.
The top of the front bulkhead has been milled off as well.
I am going to look through my parts bin to see what else I can find from it. Your recent thread had inspired me to build it up. :)
Scored these two NIP off the Bay. I am suspecting they are pretty rare. One will be for my my next Topcat project which will have the upgraded front end parts, and some new Cougar SV shocks and god knows what else. The other, I think I will hang it...

That chassis plate went for a real song. If I didn't already have one I'd have been all over it. Best part is that these are not remanufactured repops but the original still in the bag.
That says something.
i heard of people running glue (like crazy glue/zapagap glue) along the edge of graphite chassis and shock towers..im getting a new Composite Craft chassis and i wanted to know what people thought of this idea ..

Works the same as Acetone or far better? It was my understanding that De-bonder is Acetone and with 3 daughters there is always nail polish remover to be had.
ive been looking into getting a composite craft chassis for a all new rc10 build.. heres the catch on getting a deal on the chassis, you need a good chassis to lend them to copy.. since they are in business to make $$ i think give them a copy of a...
