Never looked in here before. some cool old stuff..... I have to laugh that some of you collect this stuff.... I cant seem to hardly give the antique stuff away.. Ive even saved a bunch of it from the trash... but some days it gets tempting to put it back in there.
probably the oldist thing I have.....
Oh & somewhere i have an orignal Super Champ? mechanical speed contorl
How do you know the winds of a motor? I have an old black magic that is fast as #ell, but have no idea how to tell, nor do I understand the 1x 2x 4x, etc???
back in the day all i had was stock motors & one modifyed motor (one that you could change the brushes) a friend gave me with a rc10 I bought off him. No idea what it was, just too long ago to remember.
so whts the deal?????? I thought a silver can was a silver can... or for that mader a stock 540 was the same thing.... but I see crazy stuff/prices about mubochi motors? whats the diffrance? they all seeem to be almost identical in speed to me..... (i even had one of these http://cgi.ebay.com/Tamiya-RS-540SD-BLACK-SPRINT-50189-Vintage-Motor-RARE-/190463688174?pt=Radio_Control_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2c58853dee#ht_4889wt_888 way back when.) dont remember it being any better.

See the little black knob, right side of the radio? That's the throttle/brake, super cool indeed
