Mark, search my threads, I think someone once told me they were Duratrax.

Re: Who made these alloy wheels?
Nope I can't find it Gary but it is interesting to learn that you had to modify the rear ones to fit, so they're not Losi fit off the shelf.

That's right! As I recall they came off my TRX-1 and the rears had to be opened up a bit to fit the Losi.Synergy wrote:Nope I can't find it Gary but it is interesting to learn that you had to modify the rear ones to fit, so they're not Losi fit off the shelf.

The hole size looks a little small for Duratrax. You guys sure?

Last year, theere was a similar topic about some wheels on a Camaro. Turns out that those weren't duratrax...

A mystery, I'll pull them off the car and post some closer shots.

I'm on the fence myself. On one hand they look like Duratrax, and on the other hand they don't. Unless those were polished Duratrax rims were never that smooth or shiny. Hmmmmm

They were polished. They looked pretty tough when I got them.Lowgear wrote:I'm on the fence myself. On one hand they look like Duratrax, and on the other hand they don't. Unless those were polished Duratrax rims were never that smooth or shiny. Hmmmmm

Re: Who made these alloy wheels?
Ah, then in that case its a good possibility they are.
Here are a set of fronts I have. I'm not positive what brand they're for but I think Tamiya.
If you notice mine don't have a lip around the edge like those do. Maybe others who have Duratrax ones can chime in if theirs do or not.
