Luckily Tamiya is remaking some of it's older tires, since the re-release of some of it's older kits. But, that probably doesn't help you much.
I don't know that Proline is making any of the older style tires. Keep checking ebay, older style NIB tires show up often.
I know CRP seems to have plenty of older style tires that they sell on ebay, but I don't remember many people bitd using CRP tires.

i'm looking for a 2 nip prs. of these 2.2 proline road paws if anyone has them, or knows where to get them. i haven't been able to stumble across any in the last 15 years, so i'll try actively searching.

Basically im looking for some tamiya style old school tires, big knobs, hard rubber look, not necessarily the "box art" tires that comes with the 6010 rc10, but similiar. Harder to explain that i thought i guess. Basically "era appropriate" tires.mrlexan wrote:The only tires that Proline has re-re'd is the waffle pattern tires that fit the 1.5 to 1.7 sized wheels (for the Frog/Hornet/Grasshopper). What exactly are you looking for specifically?

I think they're hornet ones and again I think they fit the original RC10 wheels
Experience is that marvelous thing that enables you to recognize a mistake when you make it again.

The tyres you are trying to find are Tamiya Holiday Buggy tyres. Unfortunately Tamiya haven't re-released it.mikedealer wrote: Basically im looking for some tamiya style old school tires, big knobs, hard rubber look, not necessarily the "box art" tires that comes with the 6010 rc10, but similiar. The Tamiya Hornet/Frog rears will fit on the original 1.6" wheels no problem
