Just a kind of goof-off project. A frankenstien type of build. I have about all the different styles of RC10's that these parts would go on already built. I am a little tired of trying to find and buy parts to make kit correct modlels. I guess I would consider these extras. I have a new "B" chassis and nose piece. Many of the other pieces I have in both black and white. The mix match idea I got from a wide track front kit I have that has all white parts and black arms. I thought of following the same in the rear. I only have new transmissions in black. I don't know if I should use a black or gold motor plate and on from there. Any comments and suggestions welcome. I might even strip it and make a polished stealth.

I have the shock towers in white also.

The Fox, Falcon, 9 RC10s black/gold/graph, Optima Mid SE EXT, Losi XXXT, B3, B4, 3 T4s, Evader BX, Evader ST, Buggy Champ '09, Sand Scorcher '10, RC10T, RC10DS

It's pretty much universal. A lot of escs have an unsensored mode, though most motors you would use in your Losi cars would be sensored. A lot of guys do buy non sensored stuff, but sensored has a little better control.

Has anybody here done any parts mixing-and-matching with their Le Mans motors? Due to size restrictions with the limited space in the motor pod of the RC12LE I'm building, I decided to put a Le Mans 480S motor in there. I won't get into that too...

Here is how it turned out...480S can, brand new 240SB comm inside, and gold end-bell, from either a 360 or 480 Gold. New wires, 3.5mm gold bullet connectors and condensors soldered on. I'll call it a Kyosho Le Thing. :P Should be interesting to see...

Is there any standard size for wires between ESC and motor? Also is there any problem with having different sizes of wires from the motor than come off the ESC? I have some 10, 12 and 14 gauge wire. My old ESC (see signature line) appears to have 14...

Better shocks were the first thing i put on mine, actually used some gold associated front shocks all around, made a big difference. Lots of sellers on ebay for decent prices on other brands too.

I had one of the first ZX-5's when it came out 2 years ago. I'm not a throttle jammer and don't have big crashes but it used to break shock tower mounts, front arm braces, front hubs, spur gears stripped easily and the shocks leaked their contents...
