Traxxas telescoping shafts on a JRX2...

Hey all, I stopped at the local Pepboys here for some metric hex bolts for a non RC project, then wandered over to the Traxxas RC section for a peek at what was there. I picked up a parts bag for the 1/10 Slash drive axles and I could be wrong, but they look very close in diameter, and even more close in slotted internal pattern, to the Losi style. Has anyone ever tried to match this? Since the widening of my racer via LXT arms (awesome btw), I wanted to lengthen the outer shafts to cover more surface area. And just on the transmission side too. The outer Slash shafts are definately longer by at least a half inch, maybe more. Just food for thought, but next time Im bringing an X2 axle and having my way with an un-opened parts bag

Yes they work with each other. Same design.

The Losi male will work with the traxxas female, but not the other way around. Also, the holes for losi are slightly bigger...so you'll have to ream out the traxxas a bit to fit the losi ball joint.
