JRX2 Shock Shafts
JRX2 Shock Shafts
Onto the re-build of my JRX2 shock absorbers and I thought I could clean up the shafts that came with the car. Unfortunately they have ridges in them. I've managed to get some original rear replacements but not fronts - are there any alternative front shock shafts that can be used? They are the original short shocks (part A 5004).
Thanks

Re: JRX2 Shock Shafts
The Losi short front shock shaft, part number A-5004 is still available here:

Or there's one here:

Also, it helps to have your location in your profile.....even if it just says UK....!

Re: JRX2 Shock Shafts
I will just add that if you are desperate for shock shafts there is always the upgrade version of the same part. A5060 the .6" Ti-Nitrade shock shaft. Those are readily available from Horizon Hobby, which means you can support your local hobby shop and ask them to order some for you if they don't have in stock.

Thanks Guys.
I have updated my profile.
I saw the single front shock shaft on ebay but for the cost of postage I would need to be buying at least two! I will have a look at the other suggested sites now.

When I first posted my reply, I thought that you lived in the USA and originally gave you links to US eBay auctions for those shock shafts that is until I checked one of your other threads only to find out that you live in the UK! It really does help to know the basic geography of forum members....aggpm09 wrote:Thanks Guys.
