B2/B3 tranny case a direct fit on a 94 B-stamp CE?

Post by Claymore5150 »

Question and looking for insight from the experts.

Are the b2 and or b3 stealth tranny cases a direct drop-in installation on a B-stamp Stealth buggy (94ce)?

I ask because it takes a rectangular cut to get a b4 in there and I'm not sure I can drink enough to go carving on my baby with diamond tipped bits that rotate like a brushless motor on 6s.

There are some aftermarket cases on the oval car market that accept the sc10/b4 gears that are direct drop installation in the B2/B3, but the mfg couldn't remember if they dropped in on a stealth goldpan or not, so I figured I'd ask the gang.

I emailed Barry about it. Not sure if he conferred with Dustin or not.

That's why, Barry has nothing to do with that side of the Hyperdrive cars- only the carbon cutting as far as production goes. All the other parts are GFRP/Malicoat and you can always make the 2.40 tranny fit by putting 2 .020 spacers under the rear mounting location causing you to not need the recess in the chassis.
