Those Optimas are going to look great. The Gold parts alone are almost worth their weight in gold.

the key to polishing is sand the alum. so its free of scratchs. Finish in a fine grit like 1500 wet or i find a grey scotch brite pad is o.k. Then i put it on the 8 inch bench grinder that has a white cloth polishing pad attached ,thats when you apply some alum. polish it comes in a stick form which you rub in the pad then you use the metal on it, the pic shows a small piece that i have left, then use the billet polish it turn out real nice,

Cool cars dude,
you'll love this site too: http://theoptimahouse.blogspot.com/

Make sure to leave one unpolished: that's the way they came and real buggies look like (well accept for the sandrails you see in some mag's)

Those are nice and all. But you'll get a better reception here if you start your own thread and not hijack someone else's.
