rc10t 3 piece wheels
I just had a quick question about the 3 piece wheels that came on the rc10t. Are they 2.2 and are you able to put newer type of tires on those rims.
I want to keep the vintage look to my rc10t but dont want to use old tires. i would rather use newer proline rubber.
Thanks.

Yes and yes. You just need to be cautious about how much power you put through the wheels. I'm not sure how well the 3 piece wheels will hold up if you're planning on going LiPo/brushless. Maybe someone else here has tried and could give some input...?

I haven't tried but I don't think they'll suffer that much from power, not any more than the 1/16th roll pin or so that's driving them . However, tires aren't glued in there, so this could be an issue at some point.adam lancia wrote:Yes and yes. You just need to be cautious about how much power you put through the wheels. Re: rc10t 3 piece wheels
I had trouble with the current tires on the 3 piece rims because of the foams getting in the way of the seating of the bead no matter what I did, so they really likes spitting tbd tires off!
