The official "lightweight" chassis thread.
Hacked, chopped, drilled, post 'em here.
Do not link direct ebay images as they will be lost within 90 days. Save the images to your computer or image host (or use our own RC10Talk museum..).
Don't bother with minorly drilled stuff, only the truly creative or horrible please.
Post 'em up!
Asso-man is to be credited with the idea originally in the cheesiest of the cheese thread.
And aconsola also for this thread which probably should have been used in the first place :

funny quote: "Add a Transmision, motor plate, rear bulkhead, servos and electronics, and front and rear wheels/tires -- and the 1st pan (the drilled one) should be ready to race!!!"

here are some pictures from my personal collection, I have other ones but they are still packed in boxes...
The first pic shows a hacked Hot Trick widefoot front plate, front gold kick-up and a superlighty motor plate
The chassis is IMHO a very good example of what is a good lightweight chassis: custom milling and blue anodizing, enjoy

It's cool because it's unique and indeed very well done. I received it as a spare chassis with a RC10 auction, the guy was selling the lot for a friend who went to Irakbadhoopty wrote:
