The adventures of SCR8P's parts

Post by JHarris »

A while ago SCR8P sent me some stuff to have anodized. Although I learned the hardway about doing ano for people, SCR8P is an exception since he regularly notifies me when he sees hard to find parts he knows I'm trying to find. Through the hectic paces of life in general it took longer than expexted to get his stuff done. I did my best not to let the parts just sit on a shelf on the garage, all alone and feeling neglected. We enjoyed some good times together and I couldn't help but share some of the memories we had......

When you go to Florida you have to expect to see pink Flamingo lawn ornaments

Spring time in Florida means it's time to walk the lawn mower

Gotta keep the sponsors happy and promote anyway you can

We washed my truck together

Went to work together

Hunted alligators together

Shared speed secrets with my modern cars as they sat together

And even suffered together the headaches of doing ano for someone

We even shared a "special moment" together.

But in the end, his parts made their way to the trusty hands of the USPS

Jason, I hope they are how you need them. We had a great time together. Send them back down anytime :)

Great story...
Let's hope the UPS man does not have his own adventure with these parts.

I had some of Jake's parts too. They also have a story but no pictures to go along. The story is remarkably similar to the urban legend about the toothbrush. Jake, you're gonna want to hit those parts with some motor spray or something :)
