What the hell is going on with ebay? How are you supposed to search anything now? I have no keywords, I can't search by the general category, this new format SUCKS!! Don't they want people to be able to easily surf the site and spend money? I type in "GT Performer" and I can't then go into "cycling" and do a search for say "gt tires". If I did type that in, I'd get thousands of car tires and everything else under the sun. Even when I click on "cycling" at the top of a "performer" page, I can't do a damn "cycling" search. Oh well, I'm trying to save some money anyway, ebay just made it that much easier to do.

i feel the new system is slowly but surely being forced upon us for whatever reason. it's been happening to me on and off for about 4 weeks and it makes my searches realy slow and picky. boo.

I have had problems with the new system but when i go into myebay and then do a search from there it is the old way. Maybe were are just used to the old way and don't want it to change. If it is a permenant change we will all have to find out how it works all over again. I do think it sucks but some pencil pusher probably thought of it and now we are stuck with it.

I finally got my rebuilt Mac online at the new house, and with all new browser settings here, everything on eBay was HOSED and horrible to work with. I know what you mean about the settings.
However, there is a link at the bottom of your FUBAR'd myEbay page that says "OPT OUT OF THIS TEST" and if you click it, it reverts to the old style structure with the new look and feel.
I think we all need to tell them how much the new "beta test" sucks before someone decides it is a good idea to change it for everyone.

Still SUCKS!!
Hey, I've got a good idea, let's do away with that pesky "completed items" search! Yeah, yeah, that's a GREAT idea!
Oh, here's another one. Let's not let people search on the general category of an item. Let's make them go straight to sub-categories instead. Oh, and keyword search is useless too, let's do away with that. Yeah, let's make it so when someone types something in, they get 10,000 listings and then they have to figure out how to sort through them. Yeah, yeah this is great.
I've been on ebay since 2000. I'd say my days of buying are coming to an end. That is if this is going to be the new system. It's STUPID! A pain in the ass. Luckily they haven't F-ed up the selling section yet. I've got to sell off the rest of my mannequin hands and other crap before they mess that up too.
Oh well, this is probably a good thing for me in the long run. I spend way too much time and money on that site anyway.
