Hello,
Here is my old procat I purchased in 1993 in Northampton - UK. I wish to restore it.
Some parts are missing or broken, but it should run as is.
Wonder if it is a good idea to go brushless with a LIPO? I was thinking using a HobbyWing EZRun 13T / 35A BL.
Here are the missing parts:
Bumper
U281 - Bumper - Procat
or
U281P Bumper Pro Cat
Pair of drive belts
- T129S - 80/072/5 belt
or
- U129T - Drive belt MVX 80/072/5 (PR)
or
U194F Hi torque drive belts (PR)
Long belt
- T152P XL Drive belt 80/323/4
- Wing mount kit
U712L - Wing mount kit
- U725Y Tension ring
Anti roll bar
U766N - Rear anti roll bar
U770R
Slipper Clutch
I should have some Marui Samurai and Kyosho Icarus parts to trade off. I still have both of those cars, but not in very good shape.
Cheers
Martin
Procat Restoration Project
Re: Procat Restoration Project
i ran one in a vintage series last year using a 13.5t brushless without any problems, but the procat had MMS diffs and layshaft fitted.
the lipo stick pack fitted across the chassis using the original battery straps.
