But if it´s for the first three electric worlds winners as the thread says, than there are Arturo Carbonell 1/12th modified 1982 and Kent Clausen 1/12th stock 1982 before the ones at that picture.

The last of the last of the dogfighters... the ultimate YZ10, bought from an official guy bitd. And this one ran for the very last time at the 97 Worlds and then was stored in a box since then, so the dirt on it is actually genuine RPS dirt from 97...

I didn't think it was possible to find one of these NIB, but never say never. This is my third.... the other two 1s I have are in need of resto, but in very good shape. This to me is probably the one true holy grail of RC, especially NIB. I probably...

Other than the body and wheels and bushings, it looks as though this car could be duplicated in my garage.

I never thought about that before. Just make my own RC1ish car. I'm sure I'd be fine until I tried to run it.

So, after seeing this listed on EBay I made my mind up that I just had to own it. Something about the 'look' of it with its trailing wide-arm stance and the strange looking shell. And after a hefty bid, I became the new owner. The seller (Dennis)...

I get this is sort of a depends situation , but are you more apt to buy piece by piece r/c items or part lots? These would be used items also.

I scour the net for a particular part if I need it and also look at badly worded listings and generic things and have purchased a lot of items for just one particular thing. It seems to work out well in the long run, but you do get some stinkers...

Is there a screw kit that contains these, particularly the very short stubby one? I don't see it in the RC10 parts list or screw assortment.

If you can't find the shorty screw you can just cut down a longer one. You can get all the sizes from any of a number of hardware websites, like McMaster.com or others. Can even get them with hex drives.
