I decided to try and organize some of my crap, and my dad had a bunch of these racks and hooks he got from a friend. This is my R/C room at my parent's house.

Dorman is a auto parts manufacturer that is pretty common. I know O'Reilly auto parts carries that brand. Maybe you can score some if the store is doing some remodeling...

Here's a question I had on my mind, especially since many of us have been in the hobby a long time.

Who has worked in a hobby shop?

The location I worked was 181st and Glisan in NE. I spoke with Leon a year ago when I snagged a TRX1 from him and we talked about the Tanasborne location a bit. Crazy stories about getting out from under that lease

Related to the motor hoarder thread there was talk about what various shops have. Sheldon's hobbies was located about two miles from my place so you can bet i went there a lot. I was one of the few that had a backstage pass to the place. Believe me...

Didn't Rons wife run the register ? I grew up going to Sheldons as it was halfway between our house and my dads. Working there would have been cool but inside sources told me he was a hard man to work for. Good thing I didn't have a lot of money...

So I stopped into a local hobby shop yesterday looking for a B4/T4 top shaft to modify my T3 Stealth and I struck out. The owner caught up to me in the parking lot as I was pulling away and said he had this T4 in the back room he would sell me. I...

Generally the 10T and 10T2 bodies fit the T4's stock body mounts, the SC10 front body mounts on the T4 give you slightly more length if you need.

Here's mine on a T4...... it has a slightly different front tower but that wouldn't matter....

i got some sad news today. the man that got me started in this hobby that i love so much by selling me my first hobby grade r/c in 1988, a midnight pumpkin which i still own, passed away yesterday at the age of 97.

Tough loss.

But if you think about it, look at all the technology he saw over the years and how things had progressed. Its funny that some of the younger kids I race with sorta understand Nimh packs but mainly run lipo.

I haven't been on much for the last few months because I have been quite busy between finishing up school and then opening a hobby shop with a friend. I am the person in the shop and he has provided the space and opened some doors(and all the money)...
