Re: What other manufactures arms have been adapted to rc10s?
Ive read both pages Phin and no what im doing is not among them so keep the guessing coming.
I will say this the rc10 parts barely need fileing down just a hair and use same size hingepins and shock locations.DON

My mistake. I thought you were asking about what had been tried and missed the part about you wanting us to guess.
Thunder Tiger Phoenix arms? Should be an easy adaption they're like the B3's. Though would they really qualify as "other manufacturer"

Re: What other manufactures arms have been adapted to rc10s?
I think some have used Losi ProSE arms for the front of a RPM91/OIN car. They are wide enough to mount on the 10t bulkhead, but could be put on the buggy one with spacer. I have suggested Ultima front arms on a RC10 before as well. They have a similar backsweep, and using a spacer could be mounted to the buggy bulkhead. Ultima arms should be easily adapted to the truck bulkhead as well. They are around 1/4" longer than a RC10 wide track arm (pin to pin).
Miguel (M_Vice) put RPM Traxxas Bullet front arms on a 10' project as well, although I think they were same length. For this reason, I suspect certain other Traxxxas arms could be fit too.
C'mon Don tell us what you've got!!

OK,ITS Losi xx an xxcr front and rear arms the losi xxcr uprights and bearinged steering wheel hubs lunsford turnbuckles, xxcr rear hub carriers.xxtcr rear axles to be cut and weld on rc10 dogbone ends so to fit stealth trans. Its the only custom made parts. When done will get pics.
All this was done using the standard rc10 buggy noseplate an arm mounts and ce 6 hole tower.Don

Re: What other manufactures arms have been adapted to rc10s?
I don't know of anyone who's used them on the front, but CR arms have been used on the rear of a RC10 before.

The rear is setup except for maten up the two different axles to make one.lol May haft to use spacers to push rear tower forward a bit since rear shocks on backside of rear tower,to better line up with the arms correctly with no binding at all.Startin to look like B3.don

Well i ended up useing xxcr wheel axles and drilled out the pivot pin holes to eccept losi pivot pins.Just haft to wait on the Raborn outdrive adapters and be complete.Easiest conversion ive ever done and had to use 4 differnt maufacturers parts lol.Ought send Losi and Associated pics of it LMAO.Don

Re: What other manufactures arms have been adapted to rc10s?
If the Traxxas sliders don't work, just use Losi's from the JRX. Keep in mind that the sliders will hit the arms. Raborn had different arms made for use with the sliders that resembled RPM arms but had a profile that went down in the middle to allow the sliders to clear. I've got a picture of them in this thread, 13 posts down:

Re: What other manufactures arms have been adapted to rc10s?
YOu could use the longer LXT sliders, and cut them down if necessary..
