I've got rpm arms front and rear on my buggy with fiberlyte shock towers what length shocks would work with the setup. I'm going to get the v2 shocks from tower

250r...standard shock sizes are 1.32 rear with 1.02 shafts and .71 fronts with .71 shafts. Modern V2s arent in those sizes, you need modified towers to run the B4 (or 4.1) shocks, 1.18 rear and .89 front.
lancia, I ran big bores for a while, they felt really good, but not better than the stock gold shocks (or I am such a poor driver I cant tell the difference)

Yes, I am running the modified towers I purchased from RC Carbon Works (now, not in those pictures).

Thanks for the info I don't mind spending a little money if it makes it a better car. I will look into the towers and get a set likely thanks for the size info also
Re: new to the forum need some info to race my gold tub
Looks like the towers are out of stock. I will get the shocks coming now and get the towers when available.I like the rear tower with b4 wing mount holes:

He may have used losi xx4 or kyosho zx5 rear wing mounts. they would bolt flat to a shock tower.

Re: new to the forum need some info to race my gold tub
Those are B4 wing mounts, bolted to the RC Carbon Works towers, they already have holes in them for that. Yes, I cut a square out of the back of the body to let the mounts through. The wing in J Concepts high downforce/high clearance wing, I think 6.5 inch. Its pretty big, I cut almost all the wicker off to tame it down.

Re: new to the forum need some info to race my gold tub
Missed the springs question, I use black up front, green in the rear. Probably good to get a set of brown for the front as well (I think that is the spring that comes with the shock kit). Others may chime in on rear springs.250r wrote:Just bought brand new v2 shocks 34.99 a set eBay what springs are you guys running?
