Re: help with vintage rc10 racing
Try these threads. There are more around so just stay awhile and do some searching thru the Vintage RC10 Section. You'll find other threads too but these will cover quite a bit of what you are after...
Parts needed to run modern 2.2 rims/tires on your rc10*

Re: help with vintage rc10 racing
host your pictures on photobucket, then use the "IMG" link photobucket provide and just past into the text you type.
B4 shocks will require different shock towers, longer for the front & shorter for the rear. the links provided will help you get the B4 wheels onto the buggy.

Re: help with vintage rc10 racing
i got a extra set of b4 in line axles, i will start with that this week, and i will try to order the rpm or kline arms too. but which arms r the best too get??? rpm or kline???? i think the kline look to be the toughest looking set and durablity. what do u guys think, and i also found that there 2 different rear arm mounts on the buggy now so i need a new set.

Re: help with vintage rc10 racing
If you have original Klien arms they are super fragile being Delrin and cut on the corners (weak point engineered into the arm by Dennis Klien) I wouldn't use them at all as they were designed for oval duty. The basic RC10 CE is better on the track than a highly modified one is by far, check this thread out too before you go nuts yet. http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=27135kyoshoracer77 wrote:i got a extra set of b4 in line axles, i will start with that this week, and i will try to order the rpm or kline arms too. but which arms r the best too get??? rpm or kline???? i think the kline look to be the toughest looking set and durablity. what do u guys think, and i also found that there 2 different rear arm mounts on the buggy now so i need a new set.

Re: help with vintage rc10 racing
i am on ebay and i found a set of shock towers and a tranny brace, the same guy makes them all and he says that you can run b4 shocks, so why cant i run the big bore shocks????? here r the links to each pcs. can u guys tell me what u think of the parts??

i couldnt wait so i went and got the RPM arms , the bell crank link, and both towers and the brace. ball bearing bell crank and the b44 cvd kit. and i hope that is all i need to get it on the track?? for my enjoyment. i will have pics as soon as i can as i get the part in. it will be nice to see jaws drop when i put the new/old buggy down to race against new style buggys.

Re: help with vintage rc10 racing
who said you can't use big bore shocks?
if you did not get longer rear arms, those b44 cva's are of no use to you.
