help: cougar 2 diff and slipper thrust races
hi, I'm cleaning up a cougar 2 tranny and found the thrust races from the diff and the slipper shot to bits or missing. Cannot find any from vintage spares of Schumacher's site. Are there substitute ones I can use from other manufacturers? Thanks.
edit #1: I just realized that I also do not know what size of bearings for the main diff. 3mm or 1/8"? As well as the parts number for the spring washers for the diff. Thanks.
edit #2: Found the thrust races (parts # U1954) from Gromi's topcat thread. Will these fit on the slipper too? Still looking for the spring washers.

I rarely used the stock thrusts. I found the Losi thrust washers from the xx worked much better, were more accessible, and alot cheaper. Perfect for the diff, not sure about the slipper though. -Jeff

The original one had black plastic cage, but I think this one should be ok. The only problem is that over the years the centre hole has sometimes varied in size. I'm sure this is the part number at least that was always used in slipper clutches - so hopefully it's still correct.

thanks all, will be hitting up Schumacher for the thrust races. Anyone know where I can get the spring washers for the diff though?
