I got some nice aluminum rims with foam tires in an ebay lot and thought they would be perfect for a DS supercar project! The car started life as a nitro DS new built by me and some spare buggy parts dyed black. The rear pivot blocks were cut and moved forward to match the body's wheel-base and the buggy rear carriers and stub axles were used rather than the DS parts due to the old wheel/axle design. I plan to add as many details to the body as possible to match the 1975 #43, 1/24th decals and mirrors are on the way, everything else will be handmade. Also the body will be joined to the chassis with magnets, this will be a first for me, I think it will work well. The foams need to be replaced with DS rubber tires but I can't find any of course. Thanks for looking! - Jim
