Another....... Restored Losi XX

Just finished up another, a restored XX. Just a couple more to go and I will have the complete XX family. Same story with decals (in storage). Going box art, just like the rest of them. My only real complaint about this series, is the fitment of the motor plate to the rear plate, fitment of the rear plate to the chassis..... both needed some strong arming, and finally I really don't care for the assembly/disassembly of the front kick up to the chassis. I like the hinge, it's just you have to pull the whole front end apart to really do anything. Great car in my opinion though.

And I have a SNIB (also pictured) to go with a new built. Nope, not the same car/kit, the built was started from a lightly used one.

Is that the correct gear cover? It looks like its for the hydra-drive?

They all had the same gear cover, either slipper or hydra. At least I think so.

Very nice Jay, now we want that body painted
