On a Roll..... Restored XX-CR
David, I am gonna catch you.... this is a restored Losi XX-CR with all the graphite parts I could muster. NIP Decals are, of course, in storage. The body needs the "Carter touch" (cleaned up a bit), then painted box art, and I am good to go. The only two things I need, I would like to replace the front bulkhead with a black one (anyone have a new piece) and I need to find a gear cover for the hydra drive (think I have one). Great car, I really like it a lot.
Enjoy!
Jay
Enjoy!

Re: On a Roll..... Restored XX-CR
Nice...seems like yesterday that people were racing those though... In the world of competetive RC racing the clock moves pretty fast. I bought my first T2, used, about a week after they were released...
Oddly enough, I still have it...
Fickle crowd, those club racers. The previous owner sold the T2 because the XXT-CR was coming out...
I ran into the same thing racing gas truck...the GTX came out and all "the fast guys" jumped ship to Losi...
I'm sorry, but my pit box was full of parts that were completely interchangeable with my gas and electric trucks...why change. Spend some time to learn to drive!
Sorry Jay...nice resto. I just felt the need to reminisce in my old age...

My mate ran a XX at a National here in the UK a couple of years ago and made the top 40 easy with it! Some of the sponsored Losi guys came out to watch him drive it round! It was just so forgiving

Was it Tebo or Maifield that raced an original 10T recently in a ROAR national event and didn't do too bad?

Re: On a Roll..... Restored XX-CR
This car looks just like the one I raced with the polished motor plate and white front bulkhead. The white bulkhead is made from stronger plastic then the black one and I think it makes it look more like a works car.I raced mine until I bought my RC10 B3 then there was no going back.I have started to rebuild that car with all new graphite parts.
