VIntagelosi.com Update 5/23
9/26/14 update
Just FINALLY added the XXTCR manual in the manual section. The only missing manual is the SW IWC addendum I think now.
http://www.vintagelosi.com/Manuals.html
Created a video in the How To section for some of the guys who are not walking encyclopedias like some of the rest of us. It covers the different early rear hubs for Losi kits and shows how to use some of the newer XX hubs on older kits. Have some other videos in the works. Been test fitting a lot of rear wheel options on the old jrxpro buggies.
http://www.vintagelosi.com/How_To.html
Finally added a bunch of Part Gallery photos that I didn't have up there before and had come into the Sabula Tech store. So if you are a new guy and curious at some of the 3rd party parts that exist out there it is a great place to get ideas. Added photos for non 3rd party but 3rd party got the biggest update. This applies to all 3 parts sections.

If you missed the April Fools site change you can get to it at the address below and still enter to win one of 4 Team Losi Yo-yos.

It has been at least 2 years since the last design change. Today is the start of a new look and new content.
http://vintagelosi.com
The original 4wd product lines have now been added.
Yesterdays April Fools joke was really also an introduction to the addition of the Yo-yo line. I spent too much buying Yo-yos to not put them in the new design.
The Parts Compatibility page now includes the 4wd lines and has a revised interface. (my brother actually coded the old one and this new one)
One cool thing to note is in the Articles section, keep an eye out for the Hydra Drive patent documents.
I will let people explore the other changes. There is one section that is not really finished yet, but I hope to work with some people to get it done soon.
The hunt is on for the Street Weapon IWC Addendum. So if you have a copy let me know. I also discovered I am missing the XXT CR manual. I thought I had it, but after searching my archives I don't thnk I ever did.
I also need to say thank you to many people, my brother for the Javascript code, Jirka for a contact, Rich Trujillo for information, Jamin (Ben) for the great pictures and pushing me to add the 4wd models, Jim S for parts photos, and many others who have shared pictures and manuals over the last 6 years.

Rich T, if you see this, you better get on fixing the tlr.com one so I can get a good version!

Thanks for the update on the new site. It's been an exceptional resource since I returned to the sport after last racing in 1985. Can't thank you enough.

I need to get going on my own Rally Weapon so I have more pictures for that section. To many projects lately with the site redesign, the business and spring pinball shows.

Re: The REAL new vintagelosi.com is here.
Think i'm going to have to go box-art on a new shell for my runner JRX2... I gave the old-girl a run out in the last qualifying run at a recent race meeting (having already secure TQ by the round by round method) & it got landed on going over the table-top which has pretty much put pay to the fragile original shell I was usingCpt.America wrote:Glad to see my JRX-2 is still on the front page

The new site looks good & seems to load quicker - the old site seemed real slow going between pages.... thanks for doing this for us Losi fans Dan

Yes, during the redesign I had to get the good pictures to the front page.GJW wrote:Great looking site. My jrx2 is up the top of the page. Cheers!!!
Maybe you have a faster connection to the hosting company, I actually think it is a little slower for me. But the site is in a wide format now and not the skinny format.DerbyDan wrote:Think i'm going to have to go box-art on a new shell for my runner JRX2... Ha, I just got one in the mail yesterday along with a XX4 and scanned in already. Probably get the new PDF up on the site next week. I plan on adding info in the manual on when to refer to the Addendum if you are building the Worlds Edition.FasterLouder wrote:Always been a fan of yor site, great work!

Re: VIntagelosi.com Update 6/27
6/27
The vintagelosi.com site was just updated with some new content.
There is a new 1 part XX4 manual. It contains all the pages and has notes on when to reference the Addendum for WE XX4.
Thanks to JK Racing there are now some XX4 Heavy Metal Pictures.
A visitor name Brian shared a video he uploaded of him putting his JRXT together back in 1990. It is in the JRXT section.
A visitor named Jeff provided some nice pictures of his Junior T.
There has also some new instructional sheets added in the Instructions section.
Still looking for some NXT, GTX, Street Weapon, Rally Weapon, and XX4 pictures that anyone wants to share.

Re: VIntagelosi.com Update 6/27
Good updates!
You should also update the XXT pictures, there are 2 body-off shots that show the truck chassis incomplete, I am sure I have posted better pics of the completed chassis, just a thought...
