I picked up a Yokomo to restore, Can someone please help identify what model it is so I can research it. I know it has some aftermarket parts and it came with some NIP original parts so just need to research it.

Team Associated imported Yokomo YZ10 (870c). Looks to be in fairly good condition. With A&L steering and RPM or Andys suspension arms. Maybe Trinity wheels.
Have fun with this one. Fun to drive!

Thank you, the knowledge on here is incredible. So from the time line thread that puts it from around 1988.

And the stock shocks were some of the first stock parts to go bye bye. You have Associated golds up front and either Kyosho golds or Duratrax in the back.

It´s easy to determine whether it´s Kyosho or Duratrax.
If they leak, it´s Duratrax
Judging by the colour of the anodizing, I´d say Duratrax.
Nice Buggy

Thank you fro the info on the shocks. I have been looking at some pics and it appears that original YZ10 shocks were not anodized gold, am I correct on that? If so I was wondering if anyone know if shocks from the newer Associated buggies (B3 and B4) are a good replacement?

You are right on that.
V1 or v2 associated shocks would be good options.
