Looks like it's in pretty good condition. Combine this with the one I allready have and I think I can build a pretty nice racer out of it all. Can't wait untill it gets here. When I get it I will post some pics.
I will definately post picks. One of the guys on our local forum found it and posted it in the Vintage racing thread we have going. I looked at it for about a minute and said BIN!
I finally got around to doing something to this car. I got it all torn down tonight and I have some major cleaning to do tomorrow. I still can't decide if I want to run this car or not. It's not super nice, but it's nice enough to think twice about beating it up anymore than it allready is. The Vintage class here has kind of fizzled out. It's supposed to still happen, but everyone kind of put it on the back burner in favor of drag racing.
Well I spent the last 5 hours boiling water and scrubbing parts. I boiled all my white parts from my GT and my CE in RIT dye remover for about 3 hours straight, they look pretty good now. From seeing them the way they were, and the way they are now, you can definately tell a big difference, but they still have some yellowing and dark spots. I also dyed some rims and some of the parts for my graphite runner.
This thing is a FRANKENSTEIN. It started out simply as a clean RC10CE Graphite (with Bushing, couldn't afford bearings at that time).
I was in the 4th grade at that time, so I really couldn't afford too many things. I would scour the track for worn...

Tom, great to see you made it over here. I was digging through my boxes the other day and found a white battery cup (and other assorted AE related parts). Its yours if you want it, shoot me a PM and we can figure out how to get it to you.
New member here. I recently went to my parents to help empty their ground floor as they live on the Jersey Shore and are having their house raised. Unfortunately they had a good amount of damage due to Hurricane Sandy and one of the...

I believe the B2 idler does not fit.
you should not need grease in the stealth if you are running stock gears, just the clear in the diff, black on the thrust.
if you are finding that there is a bind every rotation, I would think it's the top...
I love to restore more than building new out the box. Its just something about bringing old forgotten RC'S back to life so when I came across someone who had this old blackfoot body and Sees Aluminum wheels with a vintage Sassy Chassis thats been...

Guess I never really posted any pictures of the finished product. All parts are Kyosho with the exception of the body and wing (Marwan); maybe one day I'll find some Kyosho replacements for those as well.
Here is my old procat I purchased in 1993 in Northampton - UK. I wish to restore it.
Some parts are missing or broken, but it should run as is.
Wonder if it is a good idea to go brushless with a LIPO? I was thinking using a HobbyWing...

i ran one in a vintage series last year using a 13.5t brushless without any problems, but the procat had MMS diffs and layshaft fitted.
the lipo stick pack fitted across the chassis using the original battery straps.
So I acquired a big box of RC10 stuff from a co-worker that he said he's had for a long time. In the Box was a RC10T and a RC10GT pan chassis. Also a box of misc parts, oils, tires, etc. I've had these for about a year now and finally have gotten to...
Been lurking for a while becoming reacquainted with the original RC10. I'm wanting to begin a project this winter recreating the last RC10 I was racing in September/October 1990. I'm attaching some pics in hopes some pieces can be identified: body,...

Gluing the hydradrive together sounds kite destroying the hydradrive. What would be the purpose of that? To make it so it can't slip?
I personally do not know but I have to order a lot of stuff now
