RC10GT Runner by Slotcarrod
Had a GT ever since the release, but as time passed, have upgraded my racer to the last version before the GT2. So I managed to get this perfect project for only $60 from a local guy!

Mostly stock bad ass runner! I will do some minor cleaning and lower motor mounts, flywheel and headder for bump start. Still have my sweet Serpent starter box!marlo wrote:Nice!! not a bad price as well. What are your plans with it?
This is kinda cool, switch mount bracket!

Nice score!
Just a thought, but unless you want a runner with white parts, you could change it all out to black stuff, sell the white stuff, and probably turn a profit.

Thanks for the thought, but I was thinking if I can find enough used white arms in my stash?.... I would make it all white!Sixtysixdeuce wrote:Nice score!

Re: RC10GT Runner by Slotcarrod
White arms are easy to find. It's the GT-specific white parts that are rare. Rear bulk head, rear shock tower, rear arm mounts, trans housing, trans brace, throttle servo mount & spur gear.I was thinking if I can find enough used white arms in my stash?.... I would make it all white!

Re: RC10GT Runner by Slotcarrod
I think an all white runner would make it even more special! Your idea of selling the white parts would be great if I was on a budget, and I am, but I just can't part with the white parts! You know what I mean? White parts "make" an RC10 of any sort more special!

Re: RC10GT Runner by Slotcarrod
I would definitely keep it white. Used white parts aren't really worth that much anyway, unless their super nice.

Re: RC10GT Runner by Slotcarrod
LOL, that's for more kick up!.... Oval track set up!... Yea... That's it!
Time to dig through the GT parts bag!
Found some sweet blue OS heads from the .99cent bin a while back and had a CVR from a Losi NXT that a customer gave me and in turn took the motor and gave the chassis to a Losi collector! They both fit perfectly, and the heavy red CVR head will not be used! The CVR cleaned up well!
